Practical answers for technology distributors, resellers and business buyers.
Why are flexible payment terms useful in electronics wholesale?
Business buyers may need high-value devices, components or replacement equipment before the related project or operating revenue arrives. PastPay can give eligible buyers 15–90 days to pay while the supplier receives the approved order amount from PastPay.
Can PastPay be used for laptops, monitors and other business technology?
PastPay can be used for eligible B2B purchases offered by participating merchants. The available amount, payment term and transaction details are shown before the buyer confirms the order.
Can electronics merchants offer PastPay online and offline?
Yes. PastPay can support webshop, phone, email, in-store and account-managed sales through supported plugins, an API connection or the PastPay Portal.
Can buyers make urgent or recurring technology purchases?
PastPay can support eligible repeat and urgent purchases that fit within the buyer’s available limit, subject to assessment of the buyer and transaction.
When does the electronics supplier receive payment?
Payment is typically made within one business day after an approved order has been fulfilled and its invoice is uploaded. Exact timing is confirmed during merchant onboarding.
Who manages buyer assessment and non-payment risk?
PastPay evaluates the buyer and transaction. For approved purchases, PastPay assumes non-payment risk within the scope defined in the merchant agreement.
